## About

Goldilocks and the Three Wild Boars is a Little Wild children's production at Wild Rice @ Funan from 27 February to 14 March 2027. It is a Singaporean spin on the fairy tale with original songs, written by Alfian Sa'at and directed by Ezzat Alkaff, about a curious girl who is sent outside to "touch grass" and wanders into a hut in the forest ([Wild Rice, accessed 8 Nov 2026](https://www.wildrice.com.sg/event/614416-goldilocks/))

## The story

Goldilocks wants to try the newest fast food, fashions and TikTok trends, and keeps asking her parents to buy what she sees on her tablet. Her parents take the tablet away and tell her to go outside and "touch grass". She keeps going, touching leaves, flowers, trees and mysterious footprints that lead to a hut belonging to a family of wild boars. The production is described as hilarious and multi-sensory, and invites young audiences to indulge their curiosity while being mindful of risks ([Wild Rice, accessed 8 Nov 2026](https://www.wildrice.com.sg/event/614416-goldilocks/))

## Creative team and cast

Playwright Alfian Sa'at, director Ezzat Alkaff, and composer and music director Mark Nicodemus Tan. The cast is Cheryl Ho, Izzul Irfan, Janine Ng and Beatrice Jaymes Pung ([Wild Rice, accessed 8 Nov 2026](https://www.wildrice.com.sg/event/614416-goldilocks/))
