Overview

Fear No Power: Women Imagining Otherwise presents five Southeast Asian artists (Amanda Heng, Dolorosa Sinaga, Imelda Cajipe Endaya, Nirmala Dutt and Phaptawan Suwannakudt) at National Gallery Singapore from 9 January to 15 November 2026. It closes within days. (National Gallery Singapore, accessed 8 Nov 2026)

About the exhibition

The works range from the 1960s to the 2020s, a period of decolonisation, developmentalism and Cold War tension. The artists are honoured as artists and also as educators, writers and community organisers, and the show rejects one-size-fits-all feminism. (National Gallery Singapore, accessed 8 Nov 2026)
