Overview
The Magical Basket is a Mandarin-language workshop for children aged 6 to 8 at the Music Studio of Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall on 14 November 2026, 10am to 12pm. Children follow a story about a Peranakan basket and ang ku kueh, then weave a paper basket and mould clay ang ku kueh (Arts House Group, accessed 8 Nov 2026).
What children do
In the first half, children deliver ang ku kueh to a grandfather in a Peranakan basket while learning about traditional culture and early occupations in Singapore.
