Overview
Eureka Day is a Tony Award-winning comedy staged by Singapore Repertory Theatre at KC Arts Centre – Home of SRT from 18 November to 6 December 2026. It follows a progressive elementary school's executive committee, where "everyone gets a say", as a health scare turns a policy meeting about vaccines into an increasingly uncivil argument (Singapore Repertory Theatre, accessed 8 Nov 2026)
The play
One meeting, five voices and a live chat that will not stay civil. What starts as a calm conversation about the school's vaccine policy curdles as interruptions pile up and emails turn passive-aggressive. SRT calls it a scathing satire of the things we say to sound reasonable. Daniel Jenkins directs, with set by Petrina Dawn Tan, costumes by Angeline Oei, lighting by James Tan and sound by Daniel Wong (Singapore Repertory Theatre, accessed 8 Nov 2026)
Schedule
Tuesday to Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm, with 29 Nov at 2pm and 6pm. The preview is on 18 Nov. After the shows on 25 Nov and 1 Dec, a post-show conversation with leaders from education, HR and design looks at what happens when personal convictions meet collective responsibility (Singapore Repertory Theatre, accessed 8 Nov 2026)
