A cockroach king holds court under a leaky tap over a kingdom he cannot control, dodging questions from a minister, a priest and a savant who disagree about nearly everything, while in the same bathroom other stories unfold. Two MRT stations serve Esplanade: Esplanade (Circle Line) and City Hall (North–South and East–West lines), each connected by underground and above-ground routes. Bus stops are The Esplanade (02061) outside Esplanade Mall on Raffles Avenue, Esplanade Bridge (02111) and Aft Esplanade Stn Exit D (02029) along Esplanade Drive. Parking
The basement carpark has 808 lots and is open 24 hours.
